Rider Guidelines

These Guidelines supplement the Rider Terms of Service.

1. Booking

Provide accurate pickup, destination, passenger, luggage and contact information.

A scheduled request is confirmed only after acceptance by a transportation provider.

2. Pickup

Be ready at the designated pickup point.

Monitor the application for driver updates.

Compare the arriving driver, vehicle and license plate with the information displayed in Ridezee.

Follow airport, cruise terminal, hotel and controlled pickup instructions.

3. Payments

The application will display applicable fares and fees when reasonably available.

A bank may place a temporary authorization hold. Release timing is controlled by the applicable financial institution.

Ridezee does not retain complete payment card credentials.

4. Cancellations

Cancellation charges and waiting rules vary by market and must be displayed through the applicable booking flow.

Cancel promptly when transportation is no longer needed.

5. Conduct

Riders and guests must:

• Treat drivers respectfully.
• Follow applicable law and reasonable safety instructions.
• Wear seat belts when required.
• Avoid distracting and threatening the driver.
• Avoid smoking, vaping, illegal substances, dangerous items and unlawful conduct.
• Avoid discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, violence and property damage.
• Remain within the legal passenger and luggage capacity.
• Provide legally required child restraints unless Ridezee expressly states that one is included.

6. Safety Audio Recording

• The rider’s phone presents the recording consent request.
• The approved driver phone makes the recording.
• Recording consent is required separately for each trip.
• The driver must notify every occupant before activation.
• The booking rider cannot consent for another competent adult.
• An adult passenger may object.
• Consent may be withdrawn.
• Declining recording is not rider misconduct.
• Recordings must not be copied, edited, published and shared outside an authorized Ridezee and legally required process.
• Recording is not an emergency service and should not be assumed to be monitored live.

7. Emergencies and Support

Contact local emergency services first during an immediate emergency.

Report safety incidents, suspected misconduct, payment disputes and lost property through Ridezee support.

8. Off Platform Trips

Transportation arranged outside Ridezee is not a Ridezee trip and may not include Ridezee payments, records, support and safety features.
